"Rajiv Menon Contemporary (@rajivmenoncontemporary) is the spot that’s blessed and highly favoured by the people and the algo rn. Eponymously founded by curator, gallerist and actual best human Rajiv Kannan Menon (@rajivmenon).

Having just celebrated their first year in business, the gallery is one of the few in US dedicated to South Asian and diasporic art. With alllll the girls (Mindy Kaling, Rupi Kaur) + Jay Shetty making appearances, RMC has emerged as the go-to for South Asian art on the West Coast.

With plans for a permanent space, the year old gallery is cementing itself as a fixture to the scene. Including exhibiting some of our favs like Nav Nangla, Shivy Galtere, Hiba Schahbaz, Amber Arifeen, Gurjeet Singh and Nityan Unnikrishnan.

In less than a year, the gallery has placed multiple works in major museums: @icamiami, @thebunkerartspace, @asianartmuseum of San Francisco and the @portlandmuseum of Art. Ensuring that South Asian art will have a permanent presence in American institutions. The gallery will be presenting at its first art fair this December at Untitled Miami, showcasing Viraj Khanna and Tarini Sethi."
